Asian Games: Muhammad Irfan Beats Indian Opponent to Secure Medal

Pakistan’s Muhammad Irfan has secured a medal for the country after reaching the semi-final of the squash singles event at the Asian Games.

Irfan faced India’s Veer Chotrani in the quarter-final and delivered a strong performance to defeat his Indian opponent 3-1 in games. With this victory, Irfan has advanced to the semi-final and secured at least a bronze medal for Pakistan.

Muhammad Irfan will once again face an Indian player in the semi-final as he looks to progress to the final of the competition.

Pakistan’s Noor Zaman has also reached the squash semi-final. He defeated his Chinese opponent in the quarter-final to book his place in the next round.
