Indonesian Navy Chief Visits GHQ, Hails Professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces

Indonesian Navy Chief Admiral Dr Muhammad Ali visited General Headquarters (GHQ), where he met Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir. The meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, regional security and strengthening defence cooperation between Pakistan and Indonesia.

During the meeting, Admiral Dr Muhammad Ali appreciated the professional capabilities and expertise of the Pakistan Armed Forces. He also acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts and contributions towards promoting regional peace and stability.

Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening cooperation with Indonesia in the fields of defence and security. Both military leaders expressed satisfaction over the existing relations between the armed forces of the two countries.

The two sides also agreed to enhance cooperation in professional training, defence collaboration and joint military exercises. Both countries reaffirmed their commitment to further developing bilateral military ties and continuing joint efforts for regional peace and security.
