Muhammad Zubair Wins Tekken 8 Title at Esports World Cup

Pakistan’s Muhammad Zubair has won the Tekken 8 title at the Esports World Cup after defeating South Korea’s LowHigh in the final.

Muhammad Zubair delivered an impressive performance at the Esports World Cup, defeating the South Korean player 5-0 in the final to claim the Tekken 8 championship.

The competition was held from August 5 to 8 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, with 32 players from around the world competing for the title.

Zubair also secured a major prize for his victory, along with points for the club championship. His strong performance throughout the tournament helped him reach the final after a dramatic semi-final against fellow Pakistani player Arslan Ash.

In the semi-final, Zubair defeated Arslan Ash 5-4 in a closely contested match to book his place in the championship final.

Arslan Ash, who is one of the most successful Tekken players in the world, later finished fourth after losing to Australia’s Yagami.

Arslan had won the 2026 EVO Championship in Las Vegas two months earlier, securing his fourth consecutive world title at the event.

Zubair’s victory received praise from the Esports World Cup organizers, who congratulated the Pakistani player on social media.

Tekken is one of the world’s most popular fighting games and remains one of the major titles featured at the Esports World Cup.
