Pakistan Cricketers to Receive NOCs for CPL from August 19: Sources

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to issue No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to national cricketers for the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) from August 19, according to sources.

The CPL is scheduled to begin tonight, with the final set to be played on September 21. However, the PCB has decided to delay the issuance of NOCs due to the National Champions Cup.

According to sources, Saim Ayub, Shadab Khan, Usman Khan, Maaz Sadaqat, Naseem Shah and Sufiyan Muqeem have contracts with different CPL franchises. They will be allowed to join the league from August 19.

Meanwhile, Usman Tariq and Hannan Shah are also expected to feature in the CPL. Sources said that both players are not part of the National Champions Cup, so their availability for the league will be different.

The decision to issue NOCs from August 19 has been linked to the PCB’s plans to ensure the availability of national players for domestic cricket commitments.
